On September 2, 2004, the last day of the Republican National Convention, the Artists and Activists United for Peace Coalition rallied and marched in Harlem USA to protest not only the unjust war in Iraq, and the greedy, war-mongering imperialists that are in office, but to bring attention to the issues of oppression that continue to affect people of color right here at home, including police brutality, homelessness, inadequate healthcare, unemployment, lack of quality education and the need for reparations to name a few.
